Accessibility Statement

Last updated July 5, 2026

Everyone should be able to read this site, use the free scan, and reach us, regardless of ability or the technology they browse with. We build toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA and treat accessibility as part of the work, not an afterthought.

What is built into this site?

  • Semantic HTML with proper landmarks, headings, and labeled navigation on every page.
  • Every form field has a visible label, and forms work with a keyboard alone.
  • Visible focus outlines on every interactive element, so keyboard users always know where they are.
  • A skip link to jump straight to the main content.
  • Color contrast checked in both the light and dark themes.
  • Reduced motion respected: if your system asks for less motion, our animations stop and the content is shown directly.
  • All content is server-rendered, so the full text of every page is readable by screen readers and assistive tools without waiting on scripts.
  • Images and icons carry text alternatives, and decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers.

Where are we still improving?

An honest statement includes the gaps. Some sections use animated visual demonstrations, like a live map grid filling in. The information those visuals carry is always also present as text, and we keep testing them with assistive technology. Accessibility review is ongoing work on this site, not a one-time audit.

Something in your way? Tell us.

If any part of this site is hard to use with your device or assistive technology, we want to know and we will fix it. Email lou@rigalmedia.com or call (210) 549-6291 and describe the page and the problem. A real person reads these and responds.

Standards and scope

This statement covers rigalmedia.com. Our target is WCAG 2.1 Level AA, the standard referenced for ADA website accessibility. We review new pages and features against it before they ship.
